Change hair color in a photo and keep the face

Change hair color starts from a portrait you already took. The face, clothes, and room stay, and only the hair picks up the new shade.

Questions

How much does one hair color change cost?

Standard is 2 credits. Nano Banana 2 is 4 credits at 1K. Nano Banana Pro is 8 credits at 1K. On Lite monthly, $17 for 400 credits, those runs are $0.085, $0.17, and $0.34. The signup grant of 4 credits covers one Nano Banana 2 recolor or two Standard runs.

Can I see the cost before I generate?

Yes. The button shows 2, 4, or 8 credits for the model you selected, before the portrait is uploaded.

What happens if the hair color change fails?

A failed job returns the credits it spent, without a request. A shade you simply do not like is not a failed job. A renewal is not refunded. A credit pack can be refunded within 14 days only when none of that pack's credits have been spent.

Can I use the result commercially?

Yes, when you already have the rights to the portrait. The new color does not grant rights to that face.

Can I edit the result again?

Yes. Keep editing runs the new hair through the form again and spends another set of credits at the model you pick then.

Which photos should I skip?

Skip a group, a face turned so the hairline is gone, and hair hidden under a hat. One person with the hair visible, as a JPEG, PNG, or WEBP at or under 10MB, is the fit.

What happens when you change hair color

A portrait goes in. The hair takes the shade you name, and the face stays the same person.

When people change hair color

Use it to try chestnut, black, or another shade before a real dye. The clothes and the room are left alone.
